The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy with tea and coffee facilities. The food is good quality for the price. 2 for 1 drinks and good entertainment on the tribute weekend. Night club down stairs with d.j. We come in a group and always have a great weekend. Thanks to Sam the manager who works very hard. We will stay again in future. Good location, free parking is a bonus.
I stayed here for a few weeks whilst I was between places to live and honestly, I really liked the experience. I didn't eat here, so I can't comment on food/restaurants/bars. After reading reviews about the noise from the night clubs below, I requested a room on the top floor. My request was granted and I enjoyed a (mostly) peaceful night's sleep each night. Seagulls and drunks can be a bit noisy but it's not fair to blame the hotel for this. The night clubs are loud only on Friday and Saturday but you hardly hear it up on the top floor. I dealt with reception staff occasionally as I had to amend/extend my booking several times over the course of a few weeks and Susan (forgive me if I got that wrong) was so understanding and patient with me that it was a pleasure to deal with her. The male reception staff was also friendly and I really feel bad that they have to deal with so much negative feedback. Most hotels in town/city centres around the world are noisy, so to book this and then complain when there is some noise is just ridiculous. As far as the room was concerned, I loved it! I had a sea view with sunsets most evenings. I could see for miles across the beach. The bed was huge! No bed bugs either thankfully. The bathroom was fine although larger people might find sitting on the toilet a tight fit. Shower was hot with good pressure. The Scarisbrick hotel was there when I needed it and I'm grateful for the low price and the nice room. The staff have a tall order and manage it professionally and with ease and this place doesn't deserve the bad reputation that it has garnered online. Thanks to all the staff!
It was a really good stay! I wasn't expecting much as the other ratings where so low but it was really nice. The rooms where a good size and clean, the beds where comfy, everything worked and the breakfast was also great(even though it felt a bit short staffed). All the staff we met where friendly and they even let us keep our bags there after checkout. The location was also brilliant and was in close walking proximity to everywhere we went as tourists. It was a great stay, would recommend
Should have assessed central heating before we arrived as pipes rumbling on a radiator first night (trapped air in system) of course and plumber fixed in 5mins!. Massive serving of meats logs (including delicious casseroles and soups)(and dairy products).Salads.Free Britannia WIFI signal very strong and reliable(my cube updated quickly) so we great time using my Amazon Fire TV CUbe maybe some Ghost Club Paranormal mileage?
Hotel was decent enough but noise from the club opposite was loud from 10pm till 4am all weekend,and all day Saturday. Take ear defenders!! Wouldn't stay again unless I was on the other side of the hotel.
The rooms were lovely staff very helpful not to dear for food and drink close to everything in town. I would like to thank Stella and Denise for going beyond their duties and helping my partner with her mobility issues could not thank them enough. Can't wait for our next visit.
Great place to stay for two nights. After we requested the tope floor before arrival they gave us a room on the top floor. Luckily, there was a fan as it was very boiling. It was very quiet (probably because it was the start of the week.) Very nice staff and nice breakfast. Very good location, very central with easy access to transport and things to do.
Stayed for 2 tribute nights Rod Stewart tribute and Elvis they were both excellent. The breakfast buffet was very good. Evening meal was very nice We had a 2for1 bar from 7pm until 10pm Buy a bottle of wine and get 2 so that means you only go to the bar once all night (brilliant) there was 2 of us so I bottle each. Would definitely recommend
